The Way To Italy - Favorite Olive Oils 2025

Below is a list of The Way To Italy favorite olive oils for the 2025 harvest - updated from 2021. Most olive orchards (85%) and all of the sources listed below rely solely on water from nature to feed their trees. No irrigation. They say this year's yield will be lower than last year's, which was already less than the previous year's, due to Mother Nature.

Keep in mind, every purchase helps these small family businesses below. I have personally sampled all the oils (and visited most of the mills) from the list during my time in Italy.

I am looking forward to a time when you and I can share a visit to a family-run olive orchard. It is a lovely experience that makes for great memories.

These experiences are meticulously planned to ensure you enjoy high-quality olive oils and understand the production process. During tastings, you'll sample diverse olive oils, each with unique flavors reflecting olive varieties, regions, and extraction methods.

Visits to olive mills offer a behind-the-scenes look at production, from harvesting to extraction. You'll explore equipment like stone mills and centrifuges, and learn about quality control and environmental influence on flavor.

I truly believe these experiences connect you with local culture and traditions. You meet passionate producers dedicated to preserving their craft for future generations and sustainability, adding a personal touch to your experience.
